My move was from NY to Phoenix, AZ.

They quoted me $3,600 as the move cost.

They extorted me to pay $11,000.

I have retained legal counsel and representation against these people - Shawn is a liar and manipulator from start to finish. So is his felow scammer, Brandon.

Doris and her crew of Billing Department Banshees routinely screamed at the the top of their lungs at me, threatened to have the truckdriver "turn around and hold my belongings" in New Jersey.

They crushed hundreds of my boxes, broke my venetian cut glass goblets and cordials.

They broke my toaster oven, bent my triple bottom pans, broke kitchen glass storage containers, stole one of my speakers, "misplaced" a part to one of my food processors,

Broke my laptops, and much more that I have no yet even been able to open and assess yet.

They claimed "white glove service" and to "do all of my packing". NOT.

They quoted me $3600.00 for my move. They extorted $9000.00 from me, AND broke much of my most valuable property.

If I had not packed 120 of my own before they arrived, I would have very little of anything in my hands now in Phoenix.

Moving is very stressful and creates a lot of different emotions, anxiety and doubts at times. I went thru 4 moving quotes and ended up choosing Xtreme Movers based on their terrific customer service and sales person Marsha who consistently answered all my questions and emails. She went above and beyond and earned trust thru the estimating process and quote even to the end of the move. That made a difference in choosing a company that would work for the customer and answer all their questions and ensure that things would be alright. The 3 quotes were fairly similar in costs, wight and volume and thru the process you learn how companies base their estimates and further costs if incurred for additional items, weight or volume.
The items were all packed and loaded in 1 day in a trailer and would have a 3-4 day delivery window which was promised by the dispatcher Doris. Manny and his crew were fast, efficient and did a good job with even the most fragile china, glass cabinets and tables, all dishes etc survived. And the driver Alan and his crew did a great job unloading and assembling furniture. Only a couple small lamps covers got smooshed and the plastic on a treadmill got cracked crushed. But in the end for all the stuff packed, loaded, some we expected.

All in all Xtreme Movers helped alleviate my fears and anxieties ad time got closer to the move, gave me a good quote and explained all the items on the estimated costs, delivery and worked with me on the estimate.

The customer service helped a lot and such ait was a quick turnaround fro. packing to delivery move. Thank you for delivering us safely.

This is by far the worse moving experience I have ever encountered.  This will be my second major move across country.  I wish I would have gone with the company that did my first move but this is  what I get for trying to cut corners.  First of the sales person was very nice to me in the beginning in order to get my business but once  it came down to the actual service, things got really bad.  The initial quote I was given doubled once they had my stuff although I didn't take up double the space in their truck. At this point my only option was to have them unload my stuff which I couldn't do so I had no choice but to pay double what I was quoted.  There were major damages once they delivered my stuff, one of my tvs was cracked, my expensive dresser had a dent, my expensive mirror was broken completely and my head board was damaged hence they couldn't assemble it.  Also they charged me an extra $100 upon arrival because my apt was on the 3rd fl.  Ridiculous!  Just stay away from this company all together.  Their service is really bad and they do not care once you are locked in.  At this point I am filing a claim with their insurance so I will come back with a review once I am done dealing with their claims department.

After reading lots of reviews about moving companies in our area, I chose Xtreme Movers for my move from New York to Miami. Michelle in Customer Service was great to work with in preparing for the move. From the beginning of what is a very stressful experience they were very sympathetic and very careful with my property and that showed me that they really cared and wanted me to have the best moving exeprience possible. When they got to Miami with perfect timing as they said they would they even helped me put my bedroom in order so that I could at least have a comfortable place to sleep while I rearranged my new home. I highly recommend this group to anyone in the future that is looking to move and especially relocate.

STAY AWAY! These guys are crooks. We booked them and they never showed for our cross COUNTRY move. Their response after 3 hours of phone tag. " We'll give you $100 for the inconvenience and you can go book another mover."  Yeah..you think we were getting another mover in the middle of summer at the last minute ACROSS THE ENTIRE COUNTRY! Not for less than double the price we bid.Of course we had little options at that point and they said if we brought our stuff to their warehouse they would discount our price. So we did since we were on the last day of our lease the next day. They ended up switching our bid to cubic feet instead of lbs which was what we specifically asked for. It cost us over $600 in truck rental fees plus gas to drive 2 hours to them and back, plus 4 hours of moving time and they only discounted us $560. And our bid increased from $3400 to $4900!! Then to deliver was another joke. They said 3 days for a truck that does a straight shot to CA. Well after 3 days they said 7 to 8. On day 7 they said by the weekend for sure (another 2 days. Then on Sunday they said most likely Tuesday. THen they said 11-2pm on TUesday. Truck came at 11PM on tuesday and they were there until 2AM!! And our 12 piece china set dropped to an 8 piece set, vases and other glass ware broken. Cribs, dresser, table chair, shelves all scratched gouged and broken.    These guys are awful. It was the worse moving experience we've ever had. And we've moved a lot! So keep your money. Sell what you don't need and move yourself. Or if you honestly have nice belongings you love just pay the extra $1k to Allied or Mayflower and know that they actually will show.   We're realistic, understanding people. And these guys pushed us to the limit. We'll be filing reports to the BBB and other such companies soon! .

I want to give thanks to Xtreme movers. I selected them reading all positive reviews from this website and I have to confess their reviews don’t lie. Xtreme contacted me the same day I confirmed their offer. They executed great communication throughout the move. They workers were great and not painful. The manager kept me cool and calm every time I got nervous for the move. It was drizzling on the pickup day and the whole weather was yucky. Their amazing packers handled everything smoothly. They knew what they were doing. Anyone wants to hire a professional mover, need not to wait. They should book Xtreme movers right now. .

This was my first time working with any mover. But our family moved many times. My father then dealt with many other companies. I was officially transferred here in Virginia. So I moved with my wife here. We didn’t have so many items except some furniture and regular usable things. We decided to buy all kitchen items from Virginia. Xtreme came with many types of moving related equipment in a big clean van which was more than our anticipation. They spent only around three hours to wrap and load all belongings. There was sufficient room to accommodate our all items safely. I received regular calls from their office about the update position of my items. No glitch found on delivery. We honestly suggest the mover for everyone.

I had amazing crews for my relocation. My wife and I hired Xtreme to move us from New Jersey to New York. The moving guys were efficient and professional. If there was any painless part of the move, that was working with xtreme movers. Since they came up, they got right to the job. Xtreme crews were working straight through lunch. On my request they grabbed food and were able to finish working on time. After seven days they came to deliver our belongings. Three guys unloaded the truck in around one hour on a busy street without any hassle. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

We had number of problems to move from my apartment but Xtreme overcame all the hurdles smoothly like playing game. I found them truly professional otherwise it wouldn’t be possible for all movers to work faultless like they did. Xtreme prepared a perfect quotation. In the final stage, we paid even less than their primary estimate. I was astonished. I don’t know how it was possible. So far I heard about movers, there is always huge gap between the first and last bill. Fortunately Xtreme was completely different here. They were different not only in calculation but they showed aristocrat work in each and every sector of move. In a sentence I was fully satisfied. I had no grudge. Anyone can hire this skilled mover for either long or short distance relocation. No need to think for second time.

I had an unbelievable move with Xtreme. They made our move from New Jersey to Maine. Xtreme did the job in a flash. The Xtreme moving folks were so friendly and hard walking that I couldn’t be more pleased than they have been towards my valuables. I saw them to shrink wrap and then they tagged on each box before dragging on to the truck. I left my valuables to them with good piece of mind. They not only moved our belongings with the best possible care but they were couple of days early to deliver. Anyone can hire them without second thought.

We absolutely had an enjoyable experience with Xtreme. They guys were punctual, rather actually early to pickup our stuffs. We moved from a duplex home and the workers were just terrific. They took care of my belongings with as much care as they would take their own. The entire job was the smoothest I have ever seen. They did more than I expected. I was super satisfied on their performance. We are not planning to move any time soon, but when we do we'll call Xtreme Movers again.

I lived in New York. When I sold my condo, I actually had very limited time to be relocated from New York to Pennsylvania, at my new duplex. I phoned Xtreme mover and asked if they would make a schedule within short time. They agreed and gave a fix date within that week. Overall it was great experience. The guys worked hard with patience and respect for our stuffs. Our previous home had strict move out regulation. They were able to cope up the situation at prompt pace. The total move was safe and sound. No hidden charges were imposed at the end of service. I will certainly recommend them.

Xtreme movers were fabulous and fully professional. Their price was also reasonable. They gave me a fixed rate which was reasonable in comparison with other companies. Within short notice, they agreed and came to load my valuables. Moreover I did some mistake. I mentioned my wrong address in the form. After all this happened, they still showed up on time and involved in packing until all works got finished.  They were super fast. I’ve never seen any mover working so quickly and efficiently like they did. Though it’s rare to be exceptionally satisfied with move but I had no objection and of course I am not going to move any other mover except them.

Xtreme did a fantastic job with our relocation. It was middle of year and temperature was extremely high. The efficient movers tirelessly kept working in that disaster weather. I am glad I made the right choice with Xtreme. The other companies whom I knocked offered me more than double price than the Xtreme. The guys didn’t come just to rip off us. Their office sent many emails to help remind us. Actually, I can’t finish telling you how pleased we have been with our mover. If you need a reliable company, don’t hesitate to go to Xtreme.

I was moving from Pennsylvania to Rhode Island. The Xtreme folks Peter, Andrew and some other guys (sorry! I forgot the name) have been awesome. They were vigorous and pleasant mannered. I used them once for a small move around couple of years ago. They were outstanding at that time also. I almost forgot their name. Fortunately I kept the bill in drawer. Now when I needed a mover again I remembered and got the bill to call them. I relocated from Pennsylvania to Rhode Island. The Xreme crew worked really hard to carry down our stuffs from the apartment in Pennsylvania. The stairs were awkward, very sharp turn with narrow stair case. Without being skilled enough, it’s not possible to bring out large items. I admire their ability. They are my top priority of moving in future.

The guys relieved me from the primary contact to the end of move. I could not move without their great help. They enjoyed their job. Xtreme sent three skilled persons along with a supervisor. All four Xtreme folks have been talent with top most skill at their respective work. They entered into our house with smiling face and got right to work saying hello. They crews finished wrapping, put into boxes and stacked onto the twenty six fit long truck perfectly. There was enough room in the truck to accommodate our household. I just watched their job like I was watching movie. Every single task was accurate. My belief got stronger when they timely reached to deliver. There was no problem at all. I moved several times in the past but no mover was like the Xtreme. I wish them best of luck.

Our move went down pretty awesome. From the primary phone conversation I realized our belongings would be in good hands. Jake, the salesman, gave me full support and enquired about many issues. They sent a gentleman to make the inventory. He made a thorough list of all items those were going to be moved. He gave us a reasonable quote maintaining a courteous and professional manner. I hoped all movers would be as like he was and making me right Xtreme sent three skilled and friendly crews on moving day. They performed an impeccable service for us with no defect in either parts of moving (load and delivery). I noted their name with top most priority as mover.

I would like to thank Xtreme for moving our valuables from Maryland to Pennsylvania. I didn’t have to put effort in searching them. My brother have been their client around six months ago and relocated to Pennsylvania by their help. He has excellent experience with these guys. So there was no issue for me to hire any other mover than Xtreme and my knowledge enriched on them also pretty satisfactory. Everyone we dealt with Xtreme was very helpful and professional. We had no complaint on their outstanding service. I am obviously recommending them everyone looking for a reputable mover. Once again, thank you Xtreme movers for making a great move for me.

I chose the mover based on reading some online positive reviews and I was not disappointed for my decision. Peter and his team were outstanding in helping us move from New Jersey to California. They used to keep great communication with us from the beginning of our contract. I am so glad that they removed my all ordeal. They finished packing my all household and moved to a warehouse in Los angles. All workers strictly followed the timeline. Only for their punctuality it was possible for them to deliver my items one day ahead of schedule. We will never hesitate to recommend them for a stress free, trustworthy and professional move.

Xtreme is a marvelous mover. I heard their name from one of my friends. Their manager was totally helpful with me. They didn’t delay a minute to arrive on moving day. They were decent and trained movers. Xtreme always informed me the status of my stuffs. They were responsible and replied at prompt pace whenever I phoned or sent email. It was a little difference between their previous and last bill. I was unable to raise finger only for this purpose. Because just before the loading day, I purchased some items those were not in my given inventory.  They have been superb.

I am very disturbed by the way I'm being treated . This is very unexceptable !! Lee was the customer service rep that was helping set up the sale & now that they have MORE THAN half of the money she wants nothing to do with us . In the beginning she would help answer any question , and now it's he total opposite SMH!! She explained that the total price set wouldn't change & that they price match . That was a big FAT lie . TINA the Manager is the worst ! She has NO sympathy at all . They couldn't tell me if my stuff had left or not , when it would arrive NOTHING . It's really crazy to me because when I was giving them money everything was cool & now the tables have turned . I would NEVER recommend them to any ONE. They are FRAUDS & LIERS . I'll respond more when I receive my stuff.

Watch Out!
To anyone planning a long distance move I say, make sure you get a “binding” quote with a “not-to-exceed” clause. Moving companies who will give you one of these may be more pricy sounding but they will save you money over dishonest “low-ball” movers like Xtreme (and they are by no means the exception).
My wife and I recently moved from Massachusetts to Florida using Xtreme Moving Co. of New Jersey (there are firms with name in other states with even worse reviews). Let me be fair by saying that the men who did the actual packing and unpacking were professional, respectful and our furniture was picked up and delivered pretty much as scheduled.
The problem began after the truck was loaded with our belongings. The driver/supervisor presented me with a new total cost that was 75% higher than the price quoted me by Lee at the Xtreme office when we agreed to the contract. I had a money order ready for the agreed upon half of the quote but now needed to come with another $1200!! I was both amazed and infuriated. We had the choice between accepting revised quote or having them unload the truck and rescheduling our entire move plan. Their excuse was that our belongings took up that much more cubic feet on the truck than was estimated from our inventory list. Our list was simple, average for a two bedroom apartment and quite accurate.
I wrote a letter after the move complaining of this outrageous low-ball method of bilking the customer but received no satisfaction whatever from my letter—only more “explanation.” I sent a copy of my letter to the BBB of NJ and followed with a formal complaint. They told me they would be on the lookout for other complaints about this company.

Overall great experience using this company! Helped me and my mother in law with move, packing and unpacking. Took good care in wrapping my mom in laws antique trinkets and collectors items! The pricing was in our budget, and I was very pleased with their service and professionalism. Everything was carefully wrapped and boxed which made it a breeze when unpacking. Not one item was scratched or damaged and that was of most importance as some of the items were collectors dated back to when my mom in law was a child. Appreciated their effort to keep us satisfied during the move, will definately recommend them and use their service again.
